Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

Welcome to ThreadLoom. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ThreadLoom, including our website, application, Gmail connection features, application tracker, career records, resume tools, saved answers, billing features, and related services.

By creating an account, connecting Gmail, purchasing a subscription, or using ThreadLoom, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ThreadLoom.

1. What ThreadLoom Does

ThreadLoom is a career intelligence platform that helps users organize job applications, job-search emails, resumes, saved answers, application history, recruiter communications, and related career records.

ThreadLoom may use connected account data, user-provided data, automated classification, and AI-assisted processing to detect job applications, application statuses, job descriptions, interview updates, assessments, offers, rejections, and related career events.

ThreadLoom is a productivity and organization tool. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, compensation, career outcomes, or the accuracy of every extracted record.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any connected accounts.

You agree to provide accurate information and to use ThreadLoom only for lawful purposes.

You may not share, sell, or misuse access to your account in a way that harms ThreadLoom, other users, or third-party services.

3. Gmail Connection

If you choose to connect Gmail, you authorize ThreadLoom to access and process Gmail data according to the permissions you grant and our Privacy Policy.

ThreadLoom uses Gmail data to provide user-facing features such as application tracking, career history organization, job-search intelligence, resume support, and saved-answer workflows.

You can disconnect Gmail or revoke ThreadLoom’s access through your Google account settings at any time. If you disconnect Gmail, ThreadLoom will stop accessing new Gmail data, but previously imported or generated records may remain in your account unless deleted or unless you request account deletion.

4. Your Content and Career Data

You retain ownership of the resumes, documents, emails, application records, notes, saved answers, preferences, and other content you provide or connect to ThreadLoom.

You grant ThreadLoom permission to process, store, analyze, display, and use your content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve ThreadLoom’s user-facing services.

You are responsible for reviewing important career records, application statuses, resume suggestions, saved answers, generated text, and job-search insights before relying on them.

5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing

Paid plans are processed through Stripe or another payment provider we may use.

By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the payment provider to charge your selected payment method according to the plan you choose.

Subscription prices, billing periods, features, and plan names are shown at checkout or on the ThreadLoom website. Taxes may apply.

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing period. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next annual billing period.

You are responsible for managing your subscription and payment method. Failure to pay may result in loss of access to paid features.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel a subscription through the billing portal or another cancellation flow made available by ThreadLoom.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund prior payments unless required by law or expressly stated by ThreadLoom.

Refunds, if offered, are handled at ThreadLoom’s discretion unless otherwise required by law.

7. Founding Member Annual Plan

If you purchase a Founding Member Annual plan, ThreadLoom may assign a limited Founder number, Founder badge, or related account status after payment is successfully confirmed.

Founder numbers are limited and may be allocated on a first-confirmed-payment basis.

Founder numbers are not guaranteed until payment is confirmed and the allocation appears in your account.

Unless ThreadLoom states otherwise, Founder numbers and badges are account features, not securities, investments, ownership interests, transferable property, or guarantees of future benefits.

Cancellation of a Founding Member subscription does not automatically reopen, transfer, or reissue the Founder number.

8. AI-Assisted Features and Career Intelligence

ThreadLoom may use AI-assisted tools to summarize, classify, extract, draft, compare, or recommend career-related information.

AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or misinterpreted. You should review all important outputs before using them, especially resumes, cover letters, saved answers, application statuses, interview information, deadlines, or communications with employers.

ThreadLoom does not provide legal, financial, tax, immigration, recruiting, or employment advice.

9. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use ThreadLoom for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purposes
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data
  • Interfere with ThreadLoom’s systems, security, or infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or exploit the service
  • Upload malware or malicious code
  • Use ThreadLoom to violate third-party rights
  • Misrepresent AI-generated or ThreadLoom-generated content where doing so would be deceptive or unlawful
  • Use ThreadLoom to build a competing product through unauthorized copying, scraping, or reverse engineering

10. Third-Party Services

ThreadLoom may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as Google, Stripe, hosting providers, analytics/logging providers, authentication providers, and AI-processing providers.

Your use of third-party services may also be governed by those providers’ terms and policies.

ThreadLoom is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.

11. Intellectual Property

ThreadLoom, including its name, branding, interface, design, software, workflows, and related materials, is owned by ThreadLoom or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of ThreadLoom’s software, branding, or intellectual property.

12. Service Changes and Availability

ThreadLoom may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Early access, beta, experimental, or preview features may be modified or removed without notice.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that ThreadLoom will always be available, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

13. Termination

You may stop using ThreadLoom at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for ThreadLoom or other users, fail to pay for a paid plan, or use the service in a harmful or unlawful way.

14. Disclaimers

ThreadLoom is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThreadLoom disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThreadLoom will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, lost employment opportunities, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThreadLoom’s total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ThreadLoom in the three months before the claim arose.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ThreadLoom harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of ThreadLoom, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or violation of third-party rights.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice.

Your continued use of ThreadLoom after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
